Background

Occupying 45,000 sq ft on a busy Central London junction, in the basement of a large office building, client Virgin Active wanted to create a flagship private members’ club that was exceptional in every way. A club equipped with cutting edge technology at every turn.

Challenge

Only ‘best in class’ would do with regards to the audio and visual experience. Wattbike, MYZONE, MyRide+ and SWIMTAG – Virgin Active wanted the latest advancements in order to create an all-encompassing, multi-sensory member experience. All in keeping with the brand’s signature minimalist design.

Solution

Never ones to shy away from breaking boundaries, we collaborated with Virgin Active’s project management team, designers, main contractors and various new technology providers to integrate and deliver a complete technology solution. Key features of which included the Bose® Pro audio system, state-of-the-art studio systems and projectors, as well as ultra-thin LED video walls and TV screens.

Result

Thanks to close collaboration and our in-depth understanding of what the latest technologies can offer members, we helped to deliver a truly extraordinary club. One with genuine wow factor wherever you turn, and where members can evaluate their performance and enhance their training.

The Myride’s Audio Visual experience is a key differentiator, and our operational focus, is its instructor-led classes. Adding video the way Myride+ does to live classes doesn’t detract from the importance of the instructor. It simply empowers a new, exciting, fully immersive experience.
